Fudge frosting Frosting used for fudge cake & brownies. Mom
Ingredients:

2 ounces baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
2/3 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsps. vanilla

Preparation:

Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat stirring frequently. Boil until mixture reaches the soft ball stage. About 232 degrees. Cool without disturbing until pan is cool enough to touch quickly with hand. Add vanilla & beat mixture until cool & thick enough to spread. If mixture thickens too much, add a few drops of milk until it reaches desired consistency.
