Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies Be sure to burn a tray for Dad! Becca
Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cups butter, softened
3/4 cups packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
3.4 oz pkg instant pudding, any flavor
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (1 regular bag)
1 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a small bowl, sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter with the brown and white sugars. Beat in the pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Edges should be brown.
